This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how CyberWallet (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through its website, mobile application, and other online products that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
For applicable international data protection laws, CyberWallet is the “controller” of personal information collected through the Services and is a company to contact if you have questions about the use of your personal information.
We use personal data only to provide support and respond to inquiries. We don’t share your personal and financial information with third parties, except to deliver you our Services, comply with the law, make CyberWallet better, or protect our rights. We never collect personal data about our users without consent.
We reserve the right to access, preserve, read, and disclose any information that we reasonably believe is necessary to:
- Comply with the law or court order;
- Cooperate with law enforcement;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of CyberWallet, our employees, our users, or others.
By using CyberWallet, including downloading our mobile application, or visiting our website, you agree to the use and procedures outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Data Collection
CyberWallet does its best not to collect any personal information from CyberWallet users.
We are not interested in learning more about our users and visitors than is necessary to provide information about our Services and support users of those Services.
We can provide your personal information to our employees to enable them to perform certain services for us exclusively, like improving website-related services and features; and performing maintenance.
We get only the necessary information about you, which may include your personal data in only the limited ways set forth below.
User-Provided Information
We collect the information you directly give to us on our website, via email, or other correspondence as required to provide customer support.
You are required to create a HyperID account to sign in to CyberWallet. To register a HyperID account, you will need to provide your email address and choose a password. The verification code will be sent to your email address and the code will be valid for only 30 minutes.
All user-provided data will be fetched from and stored in HyperID. Please read HyperID Privacy Policy for more information.
We collect information when you create a CyberWallet account, communicate with us via third-party social media sites, or request customer support.
Your email address may be collected if you contact us, or if you report a bug or other error related to CyberWallet.
We may use your Personal Information to:
- Respond to your question, comments, or issues related to bugs or errors with CyberWallet;
- Provide you with additional information about services and products using push notifications;
- Contact you when necessary.
Once you have created a CyberWallet account, we may ask you to provide additional optional information about yourself.
Automatically Collected Information
We automatically log information about your computer and activity when you visit our website.
We log your operating system type, browser type and language, pages you viewed on our website, time spent on our website and information about your actions on our website.
Users who use our application or visit our website may have their device’s IP address logged to generate anonymous statistics or evaluate the performance of our Services. Your IP address will never be used to track or identify you, but it may be used to determine your geographic location to determine which language will be used.
We may combine aggregate information from the web beacons and cookies with other similar data we collect from other website visitors to help us improve our Services. We do everything necessary to ensure that any such aggregated information cannot be connected back to you.
When performing an exchange in the application, we log user information such as the wallet addresses and the transaction IDs involved, and other non-personally identifiable data.
Third-Party Services
Certain features of CyberWallet rely on various third-party products and services (collectively “Third-Party Services”).
These Services may collect certain personal information, for example your public Wallet addresses. CyberWallet uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, which uses cookies to help us analyze how users use hypersecureid.com.
The cookie-generated information about your activity on our website will be transmitted to and stored by Google. Google can transfer such information to other third parties if there is a need to do so by law, but will not associate your IP address with any other data.
Our website may also include links to other websites and online services. We can not be held responsible for the content of these websites or any other privacy practices on these websites, so you should read the terms of service and the privacy statements of any such websites.
If we enter bankruptcy, go out of business, or go through some other change of control, your personal information would not be transferred to a third party.
Our security team verifies each prospective third-party application to ensure that its policies and practices do not undermine our efforts.
Data Retention & Security
We store the collected data for as long as it is necessary for us to meet our legal, regulatory, or other compliance obligations.
If you delete your wallet or wallet addresses from the CyberWallet application, uninstall CyberWallet mobile application from the device, or request the deletion of your information, we still may retain some information that you have provided to maintain CyberWallet or to comply with relevant laws.
We employ multiple physical and electronic safeguards to keep your information safe, including encrypting user passwords, two-factor verification and authentication on passwords, and securing all connections with Transport Layer Security (TLS).
We restrict the access to personal information at our offices, so only employees with a legitimate business purpose can access it.
Even with all these precautions and safeguards put in place, we cannot fully guarantee the possibility of wrongful access, alteration, disclosure, or deletion of data through events, including but not limited to hardware or software failure or unauthorized use.
